Festive Road launches consultancy in Australia, New Zealand and Asia

Festive Road, one of the world’s leading travel and meetings engagement consultancy, has announced the growth of the organisation into Asia Pacific with the appointment of a senior travel management leader in the region.

Festive Road is designed to help companies grow through better engagement. Headed by business travel thought leaders Paul Tilstone & Caroline Strachan, together with their network of international Roaders, they provide strategy, sourcing & delivery services to the buyer community and strategy, marketing and delivery services to the supplier community.

Mike Orchard, formerly the Global Head of Corporate Travel and Card at Macquarie Group in Sydney, has today joined Festive Road to lead development of the business in the Asia Pacific region across both the buy and supply community. He previously held the roles of VP Global Supplier Management at Carlson Wagonlit Travel in Singapore and head of CWT Solutions Group Asia Pacific. Prior to that he spent five years leading HRG Consulting in the UK.

With his vast knowledge of the Industry, Mike provides his thoughts on trends and opportunities facing corporate travel around the world. According to Mike we are seeing the role of TMCs evolving right now in the marketplace, coupled with a “huge amount of market pressure”.
