Asia Pacific

  • Philippine Airlines confirmed the appointment of Stanley Ng as president and COO in an acting or officer in charge capacity.
  • IndiGo appointed Rahul Bhatia as MD, effective 04-Feb-2022.
  • All Nippon Airways announced the appointment of senior executive VP and board member Shinichi Inoue as president and CEO, succeeding Yuji Hirako, who will become vice chairman of parent company ANA Holdings, effective 01-Apr-2022.
  • Hainan Airlines board approved the election of Wang Yingming as chairman and legal representative of the company.
  • Tata Group announced the appointment of Ilker Ayci as Air India CEO and managing director effective 01-Apr-2022.
  • Jet Airways appointed Vipula Gunatilleka as CFO, effective 01-Mar-2022
  • ANA Holdings announced changes to members of the board and corporate executive officers, effective 01-Apr-2022. Key changes are as follows:
    • Shinya Katanozaka: Chairman;
    • Yuji Hirako: Vice chairman;
    • Ichiro Fukuzawa: Senior EVP corporate strategy;
    • Yoshiharu Naoki: Group chief human resources officer;
    • Chikako Miyata: Group chief sustainability officer;
    • Kimihiro Nakahori: Group CFO;
    • Hidetomo Aramaki: Group CIO;
    • Jun Taneie: Group chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer.
  • All Nippon Airways announced changes to board members and corporate executive officers, effective 01-Apr-2022. Key changes are as follows:
    • Koji Shibata: Chairman;
    • Shinichi Inoue: President and CEO;
    • Ichiro Fukuzawa: Senior EVP corporate strategy;
    • Kimihiro Nakahori: CFO.
  • Citilink appointed Dewa Kadek Rai as president director, replacing Juliandra Nurtjahjo in the role.
  • Jalan Kalrock Consortium appointed Sanjiv Kapoor as Jet Airways CEO, effective immediately.

Europe, Middle East & Africa

  • Eurowings announced Brussels Airlines COO Edi Wolfensberger will join Eurowings as COO at the next possible date.
  • Turkish Airlines' board appointed Mehmet Kerem Kızıltunç as chief information technology and transformation officer.
  • Austrian Airlines announced the appointment Annette Mann as CEO and CFO, effective 01-Mar-2022.
  • Blue Air appointed Steven Greenway as CEO, effective 01-Mar-2022.
  • Norse Atlantic Airways announced the following senior appointments:
    • Ben Boiling as CFO, from his role as SVP finance and corporate. Mr Boiling most recently served as CFO for ADS Maritime Holding;
    • James Lightbourne as chief strategy and investment officer, from his role as CFO.
  • Air Montenegro announced the resignation of CEO Predrag Todorović, effective 31-Mar-2022.
  • Uganda's Ministry of Works and Transport Permanent Secretary Waiswa Bageya stated the contract of Uganda Airlines CEO Cornwell Muleya was terminated.
  • Finnair announced the appointment of Antti Kleemola as CIO and member of the executive board effective 01-Jun-2022.
  • Air Madagascar Group appointed Ny Riana Rasolofonjatovo as Madagascar Airlines MD.
  • PLAY announced the appointment of Guðni Ingólfsson as managing director for aviation operations.

Americas

  • Allegiant Air appointed John Redmond as CEO, effective 01-Jun-2022.
  • WestJet appointed Alexis von Hoensbroech as CEO, effective immediately.
  • Air Transat appointed Marc-Phillippe Lumpé as chief airline operations officer, effective 01-Jun-2022.
  • UPS announced the retirements of EVP and chief information and engineering officer Juan Perez and EVP international Scott Price. Both retirements are effective 31-Mar-2022. In response, UPS announced the following organisational realignment and executive movements:
    • Kate Gutmann, chief sales and solutions officer and EVP UPS Global Healthcare will move to a newly created role of EVP and president international, healthcare and supply chain solutions;
    • Nando Cesarone, EVP and president US, including small package, transportation and the UPS Airlines operations, will assume additional responsibility for US sales as well as the company's automotive, and global buildings and systems engineering groups.
  • Alaska Air Group appointed Emily Halverson as chief accounting officer and controller, effective 01-Apr-2022.
