For the fifth year running, Japan crowns the Henley Passport Index, which is based on exclusive and official data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). It is the original ranking of all the world’s passports according to the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa.

Recovery of business travel is gaining momentum – positive end to 2022 offers optimism for 2023
Messaging regarding the recovery of the business travel segment has been mixed. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of the industry’s leading voices have claimed that business travel will never fully recover due to changing working habits – namely remote working and digital nomadism; company cost reduction; and a growing awareness of environmental issues.
Indeed, international business travel has been recovering at a slower rate than leisure tourism, but analysis from data specialists ForwardKeys has highlighted that in the fourth quarter of 2022 business travel has begun to outstrip leisure travel.
