Marriott doubles Chinese Sheraton properties incorporating brand’s design transformation
The transformation of the Sheraton Hotels & Resorts brand continues to build momentum across the globe, with more than 30 properties displaying the brand’s design transformation by the end of 2022.
Greater China now features eight properties with the modernised design concept with Sheraton Xi’an South, Sheraton Ningbo Xiangshan Resort, Sheraton Nanjing Kingsley Hotel & Towers and the soon to open Sheraton Xi’an Chanba joining Sheraton Guangzhou Hotel, Sheraton Mianyang, Sheraton Zhaoqing Dinghu, and Sheraton Chengdu Pidu as transformed Sheraton-branded properties in Greater China.
Sheraton plans to continue its transformation journey in the region with the brand expecting additional hotels to showcase the new modernised look next year with the openings of Sheraton Beihai Resort and Sheraton Lanzhou Anning.

Auckland and Sydney arrivals for Accor’s business-oriented Pullman brand among 2023 Oceania openings
Accor has plans to add at least nine new properties to its portfolio across Australia and New Zealand in 2023 in another strong year of growth and investment in the Oceania market.
The new arrivals will include properties across a range of brands but will notably include two new properties under the group’s business-oriented Pullman brand, due in Auckland and Sydney.
“We are introducing fresh concepts and exciting new properties for our loyal guests to discover in our great cities and in beautiful destinations around Australia and New Zealand,” highlights Sarah Derry, Accor Pacific chief executive officer.
