Abu Dhabi International Airport introduces Fast Track Flight Connections initiative

Abu Dhabi International Airport launched a fast track flight connections initiative in cooperation with the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, the Department of Transport, Abu Dhabi Customs, Abu Dhabi Airports and Etihad Airways (Arabian Aerospace, 21-Sep-2020). The initiative offers an expedited security process to passengers travelling from selected airport partners in Europe and North America and will increase connection speed by approximately 27%. Abu Dhabi Airports chairman Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan said the measure is intended to support sector recovery and "further positions Abu Dhabi as a global hub, bridging the East and West".
