Aeroflot expands regional domestic operations with focus on leisure destinations

Aeroflot launched (27-Apr-2021) a programme of regional services to domestic leisure destinations and increased frequency from Moscow to destinations in southern Russia. The programme is expected to support direct regional travel bypassing Moscow and promote domestic tourism. Details include:

  • Direct services from Arkhangelsk, Chelyabinsk, Samara, Kazan, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Perm, Ekaterinburg, Tyumen, Ufa, Orenburg, Syktyvkar and Surgut to Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don and the Black Sea resort destinations of Anapa, Sochi and Simferopol;
  • Direct services from Krasnoyarsk to Krasnodar, Simferopol, Sochi and Blagoveshchensk to commence from 01-Jun-2021;
  • Saint Petersburg-Irkutsk: Four times weekly service to commence on 03-May-2021, increasing to daily from 28-May-2021 and continuing until 30-Oct-2021;
  • Increased frequency from Moscow to Krasnodar, Anapa, Gelendzhik and Sochi. Moscow-Simferopol frequency will nearly double from Jun-2021. [more - original PR]
