Air Canada expects fuel to be 'bouncing around' in 2018: CEO

Air Canada CEO and president Calin Rovinescu stated the carrier fully expected fuel to be "bouncing around" in 2018, noting its sensitivity to fuel is "well embedded" in its pricing strategy (Reuters/CNBC, 16-Feb-2018). Fuel costs in 4Q2017 increased approximately 13.6% to CAD67.5 cents (USD53.8 cents) per litre.
