Air Chathams CEO Duane Emeny, via the Tourism Chatham Islands official Jan-2021 newsletter, stated (31-Jan-2021) Air Chathams is experiencing "plenty" of 2021 forward bookings. Mr Emeny said new growth markets including tourism will "be essential in supporting larger aircraft to our islands once infrastructure is suitable", which will open additional opportunities for Chatham Island residents to pursue a tourism career.
