Air New Zealand reported (27-Mar-2018) traffic highlights for Feb-2018:

  • Passengers: 1.3 million, +5.3% year-on-year;
    • Short haul: 1.2 million, +5.3%;
    • Domestic: 886,000, +4.4%;
    • Tasman/Pacific: 275,000, +8.3%;
    • Long haul: 174,000, +5.4%;
    • North America/UK: 100,000, +8.0%;
    • Asia/Japan/Singapore: 74,000, +2.1%;
  • Passenger load factor: 83.1%, +1.5ppts;
    • Domestic: 85.8%, +2.6ppts;
    • North America/UK: 84.8%, +1.5ppts;
    • Long haul: 83.6%, +0.8ppt;
    • Short haul: 82.5%, +2.5ppts;
    • Tasman/Pacific: 80.6%, +2.5ppts;
  • Year-to-date RASK: +2.0%;
    • Short haul: +4.9%;
    • Long haul: -2.6%.
