American Airlines confirmed plans to extend a ban on the sale of alcohol in the main cabin until 18-Jan-2021 (Reuters, 19-Aug-2021). The carrier added it is "gaining ground" in work with the US FAA to no longer offer 'to go' alcohol at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
