Air New Zealand added (22-Jan-2021) more than 7300 seats to its domestic network over the Waitangi Day weekend as the airline continues to see strong demand from customers exploring New Zealand throughout the summer season. Destinations with additional seats include Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Kerikeri, Napier, Nelson, Tauranga, Wellington, Whangarei and Queenstown. The seats are a result of upgauging some services from ATR to A320 equipment for some ports, as well as 76 additional one way services.
