Australia seeking travel bubble arrangement with Pacific countries

Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison reported discussions are in progress with Pacific countries including Vanuatu, Tonga, the Solomon Islands and Fiji over establishing a travel bubble arrangement (2SM/news.com.au/Pacific Tourism Organisation, 09/10-Feb-2021). Mr Morrison stated: "We don't have full confidence yet that they are just going to... complete what's called a green lane", adding: "We're working with them to ensure we can just lift that confidence". He said "I hope we can make some real progress on that soon, I'd love to see a Pacific bubble".
