Azul receives authorisation to operate E195-E2s at Congonhas and Santos Dumont Airports

Azul received authorisation from Brazil ANAC to operate E195-E2 aircraft at Sao Paulo Congonhas Airport and Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont Airport (CNN Brasil/Estado de Minas/aeroflap.com.br, 04-Aug-2021). The carrier now intends to commence work to obtain certification to use the aircraft at Santos Dumont in unfavourable weather conditions. As previously reported by CAPA, Azul received permission to operate A320neos in adverse conditions at the airport in Jul-2021.
