CAPA: Brazilians show willingness to travel but doubt remains in materialising into actual bookings

20 July, 2020

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: 'COVID 19: Brazil remains a paradox during the pandemic', stated (17-Jul-2020) that even as Brazil remains in the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic, a survey suggests that a sizeable proportion of the country's population seems interested in travelling before the end of 2020. Kayak's director of Brazil Eduardo Fleury stated that the company had conducted a poll in the country that indicated 47% of respondents would be ready to travel in the 2H2020. The majority of respondents, 59%, aimed to take a family trip, and 51% were interested in travelling by air. CAPA added: "Those are encouraging signs, but the key outcome will be that the desire to travel materialises into actual bookings". [more - CAPA Analysis]
