Cambodia records 91.3% decline in foreign visitors for 1H2021

Cambodia's Ministry of Tourism reported 102,560 international travellers in 1H2021, a 91.3% year-on-year decline from 1.18 million in 1H2020 (Khmer Times/Bernama, 11-Aug-2021). Thailand, China and Vietnam were the largest source markets during the period, with 52,290, 29,751 and 6956 respectively. The Ministry added there are currently 18 airlines operating in and out of Cambodia, with 1089 flights recorded during 1H2021, down 89.5%.
