Cathay Pacific reduces network for late Feb-2021

Cathay Pacific, via its official website, stated (10-Feb-2021) it is "actively managing our crew resources to plan for our flight services for March 2021" following a decision by the Hong Kong SAR Government requiring Hong Kong based pilots and cabin crew to undergo 14 days of hotel quarantine and seven days of medical surveillance when they return to Hong Kong after being on duty, effective 20-Feb-2021. The carrier's network for 20-Feb-2021 to 28-Feb-2021 will include the following destinations:

  • Beijing;
  • Shanghai;
  • Taipei;
  • Kaohsiung: on 27-Feb-2021 only;
  • Toronto;
  • Los Angeles;
  • New York;
  • Jakarta;
  • Surabaya;
  • Osaka;
  • Tokyo;
  • Cebu: On 26-Feb-2021 only;
  • Manila;
  • Singapore;
  • Bangkok;
  • Sydney;
  • Amsterdam-Hong Kong;
  • Hong Kong-London, while London-Hong Kong remains suspended;
  • Tel Aviv on 23-Feb-2021 only.
