Clean Sky to introduce 140 demonstrators supporting more than 1000 technologies by 2023

Clean Sky programme head Sebastien Dubois reported (06-Sep-2021) the programme now has 34 flagship demonstrators under development, along with a further 106 other demonstrators to contributing to the flagship demonstrators. 30% of the demonstrators will be completed by the end of 2021 and all demonstrators will be ready by the end of 2023. The demonstrators are covering more than 1000 technologies across seven key development areas which support Clean Sky's high level objectives: Next Generation Cockpit Systems; Advances in Wings and Aerodynamics; Optimal Cabin and Passenger Environments; Breakthroughs in Propulsion Efficiency; Novel Aircraft Configurations; Innovative Structures and Production Systems, and; Aircraft Non-Propulsive and Control Systems.
