UTair misses deadline to apply for ex-Transaero Airlines route permissions: report

UTair Aviation reportedly asked Russia's Ministry of Transport to postpone the distribution of ex-Transaero Airlines route permissions from 13-Aug-2019 to Sep-2019 (TASS/Rambler News Service/Kommersant, 13-Aug-2019). The carrier said it did not submit expressions of interest for the routes in time due a misunderstanding of the time frames for the allocation of routes. The Ministry of Transport refused to postpone the meeting.
