Denver International Airport to revisit second security checkpoint relocation in Great Hall project

12 April, 2021

Denver International Airport CEO Kim Day said the airport is in talks with Denver municipal authorities concerning plans to relocate a security checkpoint as part of its Great Hall terminal project (The Denver Post, 09-Apr-2021). The relocation was originally cut from the project owing to cost, after airport and Denver City leaders resolved to move only one of the two passenger-screening checkpoints. The Great Hall project commenced in 2018 and is expected to be completed in early 2024, more than two years ahead of the original schedule.
