easyJet CEO sceptical technology will lead to structural change in business travel

easyJet CEO Johan Lundgren, speaking at CAPA Live February 2021, said (10-Feb-2021) he is sceptical that video conference technology will lead to a structural change in the tendency to travel for business. He said while there is "no doubt" that the technology works well for one-on-one conversations or meetings with familiar people, there are limitations in terms of developing new business relationships or large conferences and debates and that meeting in person is "far superior".
