easyJet reports 400% increase in amber list bookings, places 145,000 extra seats on sale

easyJet stated (09-Jul-2021) following amendments to travel guidance for amber list countries, amber list destinations for the summer schedule increased 400%, and holiday bookings more than 440% week-on-week, in the hours since the announcement. Spain, Greece and Portugal are proving to be among the most popular amber list countries for flights and holidays this summer, with Alicante, Malaga, Faro, Nice and Corfu the current front runners for amber list bookings. easyJet put more than 145,000 extra seats for this summer on sale between the UK and Amber list countries including Spain, Greece, Portugal, France, Italy, Croatia and Cyprus. easyJet is operating around five million seats on services between the UK and 85 green and amber list destinations across Europe during the summer.
