Embraer CEO: Post-pandemic market to be based on rebuilding airline networks and operations

Embraer Commercial Aviation CEO Arjan Meijer stated the market post COVID-19 will be different, as "airlines need to rebuild their networks and their operations" (Nikkei Asia, 19-Mar-2021). Mr Meijer hopes the lingering uncertainty about the pandemic and the changes in travel demand will convince Asian airlines to shift away from strategies focused on one aircraft type such as the Boeing 737.
