EMEA Monthly Route Recap – September 2018

In this week's exclusive Blue Swan Daily Infographic, we once again delve into the growing aviation market around the world. In Sep-2018, 137 brand new routes will be launched globally, however with the end of the Northern Hemisphere Summer there are 759 cancelled routes. In comparison to the previous month this equates to nett loss of 98 routes globally, though a nett gain of three new airlines (all full service carriers), will assist with growth. With 105 new routes launched in September EMEA has the largest number of new routes, 80 of the 105 routes (75%) were exclusively within EMEA.
