Eurowings CEO Jens Bischof said the company sees "very clear signs" of a market recovery starting in 2021, particularly in the tour operator segment (Rheinische Post, 05-Dec-2020). Mr Bischof said the LCC is currently operating 20 aircraft in its fleet of 100 and aims to increase this number of around 50 aircraft by Easter 2021. "If the positive booking trend continues for 2021, we could fly with 80 to 90 aircraft again", Mr Bischof concluded.
