Flybondi: Operations at Buenos Aires Ezeiza would increase costs by 10% compared to El Palomar

Flybondi CCO Mauricio Sana stated operating costs would increase by 10% if the carrier migrated from Buenos Aires El Palomar Airport to Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport (Cronista, 30-Oct-2020). Mr Sana stated: "Low cost means operating under a high efficiency and utilisation standard and some airports are more efficient than others". He added that taxiing time at Buenos Aires El Palomar Airport averages 10 minutes while at Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport it is 15 minutes. That cost adds up with other costs such as baggage handling, peak hours saturation, ground handling costs among others.
