Germania insolvency: Only one bidder left in investor process

Germania insolvency commissioner Rüdiger Wienberg stated (14-Mar-2019) the investor process for the airline entered a "decisive phase", with one of two bidders stepping out of the procedure to invest. "Now it depends whether the remaining bidder has the necessary conditions for a takeover by the end of Mar-2019", he continued. Mr Wienberg is pushing ahead with negotiations for individual solutions in which maintenance and services of Germania Technik Brandenburg GmbH and Germania Flugdienste GmbH, as well as portions of flight operations, could be sold as separate investments.
