26 October, 2020

Donghai Group chairman Huang Chubiao said the group's Greater Bay Airlines will aim to secure traffic rights from the recently ceased Cathay Dragon, but has not decided which routes to target (RTHK/East Money, 22-Oct-2020). The start up is still awaiting its air operator's certificate, with plans to operate five aircraft in 2021 and expand to 30 aircraft by 2025. He also said the carrier will prioritise hiring ex Cathay Dragon employees, adding it will need "hundreds of staff" initially.
