IATA: EBIT margin for European carriers down to -113% in 2Q2020

IATA, in its Sep-2020 Europe regional briefing, reported (28-Sep-2020) European carriers posted an EBIT margin of -113% in 2Q2020, compared to 8.2% in 2Q2019. Yields contracted most significantly on Russia domestic routes, with a 33.9% year-on-year decrease in Jul-2020, followed by Europe-North America with -21.4% and Europe-South America with -20.4%.
