IATA seeks urgent meeting with Argentinean Government over decree mandating reduction in arrivals

IATA requested (28-Jun-2021) an "urgent" meeting with Argentina's Government following a government decree mandating a 70% reduction in daily international arriving passengers to 600. Vice president for the Americas Peter Cerda said the decision would "force airlines to strand thousands of passengers, mainly Argentinian citizens and residents, outside the country".
