KLM: Dutch travel policy decision a positive, but harmonised European travel regulations ‘essential’

    KLM stated (30-Jul-2021) the travel policy decision by the Dutch government, effective 08-Aug-2021, is “positive” and offers the carrier’s Dutch customers greater certainty and ensures that travel options are less dependent on changes in the number of infections. The carrier stated the “need for harmonisation of travel regulations within Europe remains essential” and its customers “need clarity and predictability”. KLM’s network has already nearly fully recovered to pre-pandemic levels. It covered 159 destinations at the end of 1H2021, compared to 162 destinations at the end of 1H2019. [more – original PR]
