Lufthansa considering upgraded business class airfares on 777X: CCO network airlines

Lufthansa Group chief commercial officer network airlines Harry Hohmeister reported Lufthansa plans to roll out higher business class fare options onboard its upcoming Boeing 777X aircraft offering additional seating advantages to standard business class (Australian Business Traveller, 17-Jun-2019). Mr Hohmeister said the challenge is "how do we present this to the customer", adding the carrier is "not disrupting the product, but developing it to a better quality standard" to offer consumers a tailored selection of offers. Mr Hohmeister added 777X business class will adopt an alternating 1-2-1/1-1-1 layout, providing each passenger with direct access to the aisle.
