Lufthansa Group launched (09-Nov-2020) two coronavirus related travel insurance options for Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and SWISS passengers via its insurance partner AIG Europe SA. The 'Travel Care' option includes a compensation payment for passengers required to go into quarantine at their destination due to a COVID-19 infection, as well as travel cancellation and trip interruption insurance.
