Lufthansa is trialling the removal of complimentary spirits in economy and premium economy class for long haul services, together with the introduction of a paid 'Onboard Delights Interkont' snacks and drinks menu (onemileatatime.com/liveandletsfly.com, 07-Oct-2021). This trial is on services to Boston and Los Angeles from Oct-2021. Beer and wine are still included as part of the complimentary meal service.
