Lufthansa to trial sleeper rows in economy class

Lufthansa plans to trial the sale of sleeper rows in economy class on Frankfurt-Sao Paulo service on Boeing 747-8 equipment until mid Dec-2020 (aeroTELEGRAPH, 23-Nov-2020). The trial will allow a standard three seat row to be converted into a couch and will also include business class amenity kits and priority boarding. The sleeper row must be booked at the airport, either at check-in or at the gate.
