Macau Government outlines support for aviation and tourism sector

Civil Aviation Authority of Macau stated (23-Mar-2021) the government expects that Macau's aviation sector will take a "considerable period of time" to gradually recover from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. As such, the government reiterated it implemented relief measures to boost the economy and the tourism of Macau, while also extending the concession contract of Air Macau for three years and introduced a capital injection to the carrier "to ensure that the air operator can continue to provide stable flight services".
