Myanmar's Ministry of Hotels and Tourism reported the country has experienced an 80% year-on-year decline in tourism revenue since the COVID-19 pandemic (Myanmar Times, 03-Dec-2020). Revenue generated has totalled USD543 million compared to USD2.8 billion in 2019.
