OAG: Southwest Pacific capacity down more than 8% as Australian lockdowns continue

OAG reported (19-Jul-2021) scheduled capacity offered for sale in the Southwest Pacific region continues to be affected by the latest series of State lockdowns in Australia, with seats down 126,000 (-8.4% week to week). Given the country's slow vaccination rate and no apparent plan to accelerate roll-out, OAG stated Australia is "likely to remain isolated from the rest of the world until at least early 2022; that will impact many airlines who rely on international demand to and from the country".
