PANYNJ board approves PPP agreement, funding for USD3.9bn Terminal 6 project at JFK International

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) board of commissioners approved (05-Aug-2021) a PPP agreement with JFK Millennium Partners for construction of the USD3.9 billion Terminal 6 at New York John F Kennedy International Airport. The board also authorised USD130 million in PANYNJ capital funding to construct enabling infrastructure for the project, including airside improvements and various utility enhancements. As previously reported by CAPA, the project will include a connection to the existing JetBlue Airways Terminal 5, addition of ten new gates, development of check in halls and arrival spaces and various amenities upgrades.
