Philippine Airlines to trial IATA Travel Pass from May-2021 to Jun-2021

Philippine Airlines (PAL) reported plans to trial the IATA Travel Pass mobile app on select dates from May-2021 to Jun-2021 for flights from Manila to Los Angeles and Singapore (Inquirer, 21-Apr-2021). President and COO Gilbert Santa Maria stated the pass will help passengers "comply with health rules and COVID test requirements, so they can board our flights with assurance and confidence". Including PAL, there are now 28 airlines from 25 countries trialling the pass, which enables passengers to obtain and store COVID-19 test results from accredited laboratories.
