CAPA: Potential JV between American Airlines and JetSMART could start airline partnerships trend

CAPA - Centre for Aviation, in a report entitled: 'American Air and JetSMART usher in change for Latin America', stated (09-Aug-2021) the proposed partnership between American Airlines and JetSMART might have been hinted at by Indigo Partners managing director during CAPA Live in Jul-2021. The report adds the joint venture will provide a model to test whether ultra low cost and full service carriers can forge successful partnerships.
