Qantas Airways pushes back international network start date

12 May, 2021

Qantas Airways announced (12-May-2021) plans to adjust its planned international service resumption from the end of Oct-2021 to late Dec-2021, following Australia's Government revising its timeline for the completion of the vaccine rollout to the end of end 2021 and its timeline for significantly reopening international borders to mid 2022. Qantas Group will continue to provide critical repatriation and freight services overseas, and support the recovery of travel at home. The resurgence of domestic travel remains the most important element of the Group's recovery. [more - original PR]
