Ryanair Group CEO predicts increase in ticket prices due to capacity shortage

Ryanair Group CEO Michael O'Leary predicted a "dramatic recovery in holiday tourism within Europe" in 2022, noting ticket prices will be "dramatically higher" (The Sunday Times/The Scottish Sun, 12-Sep-2021). Mr O'Leary said: "The reason I think prices will be dramatically higher is that there's less capacity", noting there will be approximately 20% less short haul capacity within the 2022 European market.
