Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced (28-Jan-2021) plans to operate to Phuket with 162 seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft from 04-Mar-2021, as part of an integration with SilkAir. Additional SilkAir routes will be progressively transferred as nine 737-800s join the SIA fleet. This will also allow SIA to operate the aircraft to points within its current network, commencing with Brunei in Mar-2021.
