Southwest Airlines announced (16-Apr-2020) a number of changes to travel funds, tier status and companion pass benefits, including the following:
- Earned status for A-list and A-list Preferred Members is being extended until 31-Dec-2021;
- Companion Pass benefits are being extended until 30-Jun-2021;
- Travel funds set to expire or created between 01-Mar-2020 and 07-Sep-2020 will be extended until 07-Sep-2022;
- Travel funds for Rapid Rewards Members that were set to expire or created between 01-Mar-2020 and 07-Sep-2020 will be able to be converted into Rapid Rewards points. [more - original PR]
