Taiwan Tourism Bureau does not expect international arrivals to exceed 1m in 2021

Taiwan's Tourism Bureau estimated international visitor arrivals in 2021 will not exceed one million, adding that the possibility of another tourism subsidy programme will depend on the government's overall budget allocation (Commercial Times, 26-Jan-2021). International visitors in 2020 declined 88% year-on-year to 1.377 million, including more than one million in 1Q2020.
