TAV Georgia warns Georgian Airways of need to pay outstanding financial obligations

TAV Georgia, via its official Facebook account, stated (11-Mar-2019) Georgian Airways owes more than GEL9 million (EUR2.9 million) to the airport operator, despite the issue of a payment schedule for the carrier. TAV Georgia said it will be forced to restrict the carrier's usage of airport services and infrastructure if outstanding financial obligations are not paid. TAV Georgia added Georgian Airways receives privileges from the airport operator as the national airlines. Georgian Airways stated it considers TAV Urban Georgia is hindering the development of aviation in Georgia, as previously reported by CAPA.
