Tourism Council Western Australia calls for mandatory vaccination for interstate arrivals

Tourism Council Western Australia (WA) called (23-Aug-2021) for the introduction of a requirement for all interstate arrivals to Western Australia to be vaccinated from 01-Dec-2021. Tourism Council WA board voted to support mandatory vaccination for all arrivals to the State, which CEO Evan Hall said would promote safe and responsible travel. Mr Hall said the vaccination requirement would supplement the current controlled border arrangements and it would be expected that other measures like testing and quarantine could still be used as needed.
