Townsville Airport handles more than 80% of pre-coronavirus levels in Apr-2021

    Queensland Airports Limited (QAL) stated (04-May-2021) Townsville Airport handled more than 80 per cent of pre-coronavirus levels in Apr-2021, and handled more than 100,000 passengers, the highest number of passengers since Feb-2020. QAL CEO Chris Mills stated: “We have some way to go to recover from the past 12 months, but this sustained growth is a real positive for North Queensland, after more than a year of challenging operating conditions”.
