US Government considering requiring negative COVID-19 test for domestic air travel

US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg reported the Biden administration is considering requiring negative COVID-19 test results for domestic air travel (Axios/CNN, 10-Feb-2021). Mr Buttigieg stated there is an "active conversation" between government and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, adding: "What I can tell you is, it's going to be guided by data, by science, by medicine". He added: "What we know is that it's the appropriate measure for international travel, people traveling into the US given some of those considerations".
