US TSA reopens Innovation Checkpoint at Las Vegas McCarran Airport

US TSA reopened (08-Jun-2021) the Innovation Checkpoint at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, coinciding with the return of the convention industry to Las Vegas. The checkpoint had been closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. US TSA developed the checkpoint in 2019 to evaluate emerging security technologies in a side-by-side, live checkpoint environment.
